The 2011 event is described on the USNA Sailbot website

  • Station keeping (10m x 10m box)
  • Long distance (8 hr around loop)
  • Match race (Remote control steering mandatory; simultaneous start. around a loop)
  • Navigation (complete course autonomously)
  • Collision Avoidance
  • Presentation about boat design


There will be another event titled Roboboats, hosted by the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International. This will be held in Virginia Beach, VA from June 9-12.
